Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs inside your browser, on your own computer, and no file is sent to us or to anyone else. You can check for yourself: once the page has loaded, the tool keeps working with the internet turned off.
What is the difference between extracting and splitting?
Extracting gives you a single PDF with the selection you made. Splitting gives you several separate files, in a .zip.
Can I pick pages out of order?
You can select in any order, but the resulting PDF keeps the document's original sequence. To reorder, use the merge PDFs tool afterwards.
Is quality preserved?
Yes. Pages are copied without recompression, leaving text and vectors intact.
