Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs inside your browser, on your own computer, and no file is sent to us or to anyone else. You can check for yourself: once the page has loaded, the tool keeps working with the internet turned off.
Why does the result come as a .zip?
Because splitting produces several files. Zipping them avoids firing off a separate download for every page.
Is the PDF quality preserved?
Yes. Pages are copied as they are, with no recompression: text stays selectable and vectors stay vectors.
How is this different from extracting pages?
Splitting produces several separate files. Extracting produces a single PDF with the pages you picked.
