Frequently asked questions
Does it accept .HEIC photos from an iPhone?
No, no browser opens that format. On an iPhone, go to Settings, Camera, Formats and choose Most Compatible so the camera saves as JPG.
Do the photos lose quality?
No. JPG and PNG files are embedded in the PDF exactly as they are, with no reprocessing. Only WebP goes through a conversion, because of a limitation of the format.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs inside your browser, on your own computer, and no file is sent to us or to anyone else. You can check for yourself: once the page has loaded, the tool keeps working with the internet turned off.
Which page size should I choose?
Image proportions keeps the original shape, with no borders and no cropping. A4 sheet centres the image on a standard page, which is better when the PDF will be printed.
