Frequently asked questions
JPG or PNG, which should I pick?
JPG gives much smaller files and is the right choice for drawings and photos. PNG keeps transparency and loses no quality when compressed, but weighs more.
Which resolution should I use for printing?
300 DPI. To view on screen or send in a message, 150 DPI is already sharp and takes up far less space.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs inside your browser, on your own computer, and no file is sent to us or to anyone else. You can check for yourself: once the page has loaded, the tool keeps working with the internet turned off.
Do large pages work?
Yes, but every browser has a ceiling on image size. On an A0 sheet at high resolution the tool scales down automatically and tells you, instead of failing.
